I was accidentally there for a medical meeting and I saw that lonely boy promoting Takk in Toronto. Of course I was late buying tickets so I got a reseller that treated me with some compassion.

It was so different, so close, so minimalistic and excessive at the right times. I did not know that I had the CD of Takk at home in Chile, which I bought as an advise of npr All Songs Considered. Not a single word. You said it all with music. And songs written in a kind of intimate musical language with no translation possible. As rare as beatifulIt was, that it did not matter anyway.

Something so perfectly performed could take any golden path and we would have conceded it. Anything was different and possible that night. I was lost in my way back to the hotel, walking in circles, trying to be feeded a little more. Un poquito nada más. But you were gone. As you were getting higher, I was falling down til I touched the ground, to grow winds again, of my own, no white horses needed.. And in pain, I met you many times again listening to you in a halfway home. Thank you for showing me the way. Takk !
