In early September of 2005, I told my longtime partner that I wanted to live alone. It was a devastating time for us both and we wove in and out of each other’s paths and pain.
We had tickets for this show with friends for months and we met them for Indian food first, snuggling into the company of dear friends. The show was a gift, exquisite and kind, I wept silently for all the love and all the feelings washing out to us from the band.
I will forever be grateful for that night.
