the sigur rós song ‘festival’ (from með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust) is featured the new film 127 hours, which opened this weekend in the united states. the movie is directed by danny boyle (trainspotting, 28 days later, slumdog millionaire) and is about the experience of mountain climber aron ralston when he tries to save himself trapped in a utah canyon for five days. ‘festival’ is featured prominently in the film’s closing minutes.
