says:30th May 2017 at Place des Arts, Montreal. I have waited 8 years to see them live and finally – it was simply sublime, best concert I have ever attended. Every chance I get to see them in the future, I am going to take it. That said, there are three songs that I wish I can watch them play live some time – Hrafntinna, Brennisteinn and Isjaki.

says:My 7th Sigur Ros show and easily one of the best performances I have ever seen. The soaring crescendos, the soundscapes, the lighting and Jonsi’s ethereal vocals sent shivers down my spine at times, and left me (and those around me) in awe. And mixed with some moments of quiet solitude that were equally impressive. All in a great sounding venue with an audience that highly appreciated what it was sharing in. And the band left it all on the stage in the end. Last night was a truly great experience that will be unforgettable.

I was stunned by the extraordinary light effects that helped in creating those delicate at times, and powerful at other atmospheres. . When the band stopped and Jonsi let us sit in complete silence for a solid ten seconds before hitting verse 2 of a song it truly left an impression on me. Music for introverts.
Beautiful introverts.
Not knowing the band’s catalogue every song was new to me. I let them transport me and lived every note to their fullest.
I have seen hundreds of shows in my 45 years on this planet and that one ranks among the top 3.

says:It was simply awesome, as I expected. I was there 4 years ago when they came to Bell Centre in MTL. It was quite different this time, yet it was as good, probably even better. Lights effects were still impressive. The sounds was really good. The band seemed to be into it. I liked the fact that they missed a part of a song in the first half, and they literally stopped playing. Jonsi politely said ”sorry” (first time I heared him speak), and the band came back even stronger after that. They know how to bring us in other universe, which is why we love them.
